Is Facebook advertising a part of your social media tactics? Then you might want to use Facebook Pixels on your Webinars. And yes, WebinarJam integrates seamlessly with Facebook tracking!

Where is my Facebook Tracking ID?
To find your Facebook Tracking ID you need to look at your pixel code.
Look for the line that reads. window._fbq.push([‘track’, ‘1234567890123 ‘, {‘value’:’0.00′,’currency’:’USD’}]);
You want the number marked in Red (in the image below) following ‘track’
Next Select which page you want the code embedded on
Embed on The Correct Page
While you have four options for where to add your Facebook pixel, you don’t want them on every page. This will defeat the purpose of the code and can cause problems. So where do you put them?
Tracking Leads
If you want to track leads, then you would put your Facebook Conversion pixel on the Registration page. However not every one of those people will register for your webinar, so your numbers on Facebook’s conversion would be higher than the number of people who actually signed up.
Tracking Different Conversions
If you want to track how many register, then you want the “Post-Registration Thank you” page. And if you want to track how many actually attend your event you may want the “Live webinar room” and/or the “Webinar Replay Room.”
What if it’s not working?
Our software works well with Facebook Pixels. But here are some tips.
Republish, Register and Wait!
Be sure you have both saved and Republished the webinar after you entered the FB data. Then, register for the event. Facebook only verifies the pixel when the Registration and Thank You pages have a visitor, which only happens when someone registers for the event.
Once you do that, it can take a few hours for Facebook to catch up with the info and show that the pixel was verified. So if you register tonight, you’ll see it’s verified by morning.
Additional Help
But you can download an application from the Chrome Web Store which will help you diagnose issues with your Facebook pixel on WebinarJam and any other site as well.
For this, you will need to use the Chrome browser. Visit Facebook Pixel Helper in the Chrome Store.
Select Free, Then Add, This will add a small blue box with </>
When a website has a FB pixel installed the </> icon will turn blue and a small badge will appear indicating the number of pixels found on the page.
Click on the box to view log conversion or see if there are any issues.
For many issues, like the one above, are self-explanatory. For other issues visit Facebook Pixel Troubleshooting.
