Q: Can I offer a discount promo code in WebinarJam optin with a for fee event? e.g. if I want my VIP clients to attend for free, and others to pay $97, is there an option for a discount code?
A: All payments through WebinarJam happen in whatever shopping cart or payment system that you use (webinarjam just links to them and back). So if your current shopping cart has coupon codes, you can use them for your webinar.
Q: Is it possible to integrate WJ with a WordPress site? I used to use Go to webinar and could integrate gtw with leadpages which I could integrate with my WP site. People could land on my site (the integrated leadpage) and sign up to my Go to webinar. Is Something like that possible with WJ? I hope it is explained more precisely now?
A: Yes you can do that. At the configuration dashboard, on the registration page, select the option “Your Own Design”, and the system will give you the <embed> code so you can register people from your own site, be it WordPress or any other type of site.
Q: Where did the embed registration form on your website option go? I can see it in Hector’s support video but not on my software dashboard.
What do I need to click?
A: You have to choose the “custom template” option in the registration tab, then the embed code appears.
Q: Good afternoon! I have a quick question. Does my co-presenter have to use a gmail account? Or can it be another email address? Thanks.
A: Technically any google account will work.. but anything other than a gmail account creates a nightmare. Best to stick with gmail accounts for your co-presenters and avoid the headaches.
Q: When making changes to a webinar, if it’s pretty far down (like in the replay section) do I need to go back up and save everything again?
A: Nope, just save whatever module you modify, and make sure you publish your webinar again once you’re done editing so the changes are actually uploaded to the internet.
Q: Can we still do the Hotseat feature (posting a sticky with the co-presenter link) for attendees with the new workaround?
A: Yes, but instead of a co-presenter link, use the link at the very top of the live window. This brings someone into the live webinar without letting them impact the WJ controls.
Q: Hi! One of our colleagues who is also using WebinarJam told me that in a webinar with 600 people he noticed that not everybody is in the same minute during the webinar: some people are in the minute 10 while other people are in minute 20 or 30. He noticed that after seeing what people were asking on the chat. Is that possible? Does it happen to the participants who joined when the session had already started? I haven’t noticed more than 30 seconds delay, but just wanted to ask if anyone of you knows it’s true or it’s a wrong perception of him.
A: It’s absolutely possible. Google adjusts playback on an individual level based on someone’s bandwidth and buffering. People with very good internet connection get clear screens, great audio, and near real time results. People with poor connections or high usage (like someone in their network is downloading or streaming video) will experience more buffering, delays and poorer quality images. That’s just the nature of online video.
Q: I’m trying to set up retargeting for my webinar. I’m being told by “Perfect Audience” that I need a dedicated website for this. Currently my website redirects to a Kajabi sales page. Can I still set up retargeting as the audience I’m trying to capture are those that go to the registration page on WebinarJam and no further. Has anyone any suggestions, have you used “Perfect Audience” or other retargeting software with WebinarJam? As always any suggestions greatly appreciated.
A: WebinarJam will do that. Edit your webinar go to the Integrations tab and click the checkbox for “Integrate your own custom tracking image pixel” insert your stuff there and you’re off to the races.
Q: Where can I see the list of people who registered to the webinar?
A: In the analytics tab of the configuration dashboard.
