We answered your webinar jam questions here.
Q: Is it possible to play a recorded Webinar automatically or do I ALWAYS have to be there to hit the play button on the broadcast? I know that EBS does this, but I was wondering if you can do this yet with WebinarJam.
A: You always have to hit the play button. WebinarJam is a live webinar software, not an automated solution.
Q: Is there any way to broadcast a webinar without G+ publicly posting about it in my G+ feed?
A: When you start the broadcast, delete it on your G+ profile.Don’t forget that you have to delete it twice: once when you open the Webinar(Jam) and once when you start broadcasting.
Q: I have a webinar replay available, and there is also a worksheet that the participants need while watching. We have added the link to the worksheet under the Youtube video. Is there any way to add this link to the actual replay link also? Or is there another way around this?
A: Use the pre-defined offers feature on the replay page to give a link to the worksheet. You can even time the appearance of the button to come at the appropriate place in your replay (or from the beginning).
Q: Is there a way to disable the attendees tab in WebinarJam, so that users can not see the number of users on the webinar?
A: On the attendees tab, unclick the box “make the attendee list public.”
Q: I did my first webinar today. I posted the ink, went live, and my whole audience went to a page that said “still waiting.” What did I do wrong?
A: Likely reason: You were logged into a different gmail account than you used as a superadmin. This is a common issue, as Google will grab any account you happen to be logged into in the background to start the webinar. For best results, specifically log out at google.com before visiting your superadmin URL. This will ensure you log into the correct gmail account.
Q: Tech question: In my first real webinar today, I lost my Internet connection. I was able to get back in with a new iteration of the webinar, but the first half was lost for the recording. Is there a recommended way to recover from a lost connection?
A: The first part of the recording will be available on your YouTube channel. To complete your replay, have someone edit the two videos together, republish to YouTube, go to your replay tab, and enter the YouTube link for the edited video in the replay section.
Q: Not sure what I am doing wrong. When I create private webinars they are still showing up on my Google+ page and YouTube as public. Thoughts?
A: Read this blog post to learn how to make a webinar private. If the webinar was set to “private,” the video does NOT appear in your YouTube channel for OTHER people. You, as the channel admin, will obviously see it, but other people will not find that video unless you give them the direct link to it.
